The Big Move ~ Vegas To Georgia

Wow, what a few days this has been ~ 12 hours of only me and Z packing the truck, and then 3 days traveling at least 12 hours each day with my two cats... it was a helluva trip! Unfortunately we had to drive separately as there was no car tow dolly to be found ~ even when I had one reserved! *sigh*

I was able to show Z some of the sight and sounds of Las Vegas Tuesday night after he flew in, but not as much as I would have liked... but that's okay ~ we had packing and moving on our minds, and we'll be visiting Vegas again soon to see my family.

We finally made it home late Saturday night, spent all day Sunday unpacking the truck, and now I'm in my "settling in" mode ~ which is going quite nicely. The cats... well, it took them a couple days of hissing and growling at Z's cat Ringo until they finally got tolerable of each other, but all seems to be working out, thank GAWD! Even the cows seem to be getting used to the idea than I'm part of the farm now... hehe ;-)

Damn, it's good to be home!
